“Winning in business is like winning on the field…you need the right coach, game plan, players and spirit. And you need to fill the stadium with fans who believe.”
Sean O’Neil | J.D., M.B.A., Principal
On the way to joining One to One Leadership as a management consultant and leadership trainer, Sean O’Neil was a social worker, a child and family therapist and an attorney.
In 2005, he had an epiphany of sorts while recovering from back surgery. He decided to leave his successful career as a real estate attorney and join his mother, Mary Ann at One to One Leadership, bringing the business of leadership development to law firms. He soon expanded his reach to bring the business of leadership to a wide range of companies and he has never looked back.
In just two years, Sean added fourteen clients to the company portfolio, including Major League Soccer, the National Basketball Association and the Royal Bank of Scotland. He also oversaw the creation of the firm’s newest venture, One to One People, a recruiting firm with a proprietary system for “matching” talent and organizations. Clearly, One to One has fans “who believe.”
Sean speaks and writes professionally on topics ranging from legal studies to leadership training. He has also been featured in numerous esteemed business publications including Incentive, Executive Decision, Selling Power, Westchester Business Journal and LawCrossing.com. Sean is recognized by his colleagues as an expert in his field and was recently selected for the Business Council of Westchester’s Rising Stars Forty Under Forty.
He holds a B.A. in psychology from the College of the Holy Cross, an M.S.W. from Boston College, and he earned both his J.D. and M.B.A. from Duke University. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association and is a New York State Licensed Real Estate Broker.
When he isn’t transforming companies for the better, Sean can be found participating in a number of sports including marathons, basketball and tennis. A member of the New York State Bar Association, Mr. O’Neil lives in Pelham, New York with his wife and four children.
